Centurion Observatory
A 12' fiberglass motorized Astrohaven dome houses the Astroworks 18" Centurion hyperbolic astrograph. The 400 lb instrument is mounted on a steel support structure that is bolted to a rectangular isolated steel-reinforced concrete pier extending 6' below the ground. The Centurion and the observatory are jointly owned with another Astronomy club member.
